Introduction
Welcome to the Do.! We believe in the power of consistency, discipline, and friendly competition to make physical activities more enjoyable and fulfilling. Our mission is to create a space where people can come together, support each other, and push their limits while having fun. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just getting started, this platform is designed to help you achieve your goals and connect with others who share your passion for fitness.
Do. Home Button
As you get started, you may notice that we've opted for a floating "Do." button in place of the traditional tab design. This choice was intentional—we wanted to create a streamlined experience that allows you to focus on one element at a time while also exploring a fresh approach to navigation.
To navigate, simply press and hold the "Do." button. This will open the navigation pane, allowing you to slide left or right to access the page you need. Once you release the button, it will return to its original position, ready for your next command. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this design—please feel free to share your feedback with us at [email protected].
Activity
This page has two different views, tracking and challenges.
Tracking
Do. enables you to monitor a wide range of activities, including outdoor runs, cycling sessions, and indoor treadmill workouts. By default, the tracking view opens to running, but you can easily switch to other activities by tapping the tracking type. This will display all available options for your selection. You can also view what you have tracked previously on this activity tracking view. To switch between different activity types, simply tap the "Change Tracking" button, which will be labeled with the current tracking type, as illustrated below.
Challenges
Engage in dynamic and motivating challenges designed to keep you on track and foster friendly competition. Our challenges are crafted to help you maintain consistency and grow your routine through a mix of public and personalized options. You can join public challenges created by us or design your own to compete with friends or fellow enthusiasts. The possibilities are endless—let your creativity guide you!
Here are the two main types of challenges we offer:
🔥 Streak Challenges: Achieve victory by completing a task every day and maintaining your streak. These challenges are all about building consistency and developing discipline, with the added excitement of climbing the leaderboard.
🎯 Target Challenges: Race against the clock to reach a specific goal first. These challenges are designed to push your limits and test how quickly you can achieve your ambitious targets. Set a high goal and see how you measure up!
Creating Movements, Sessions, and Plans
At Do., we understand that having a structured approach makes everything easier. Here's a breakdown of how we define and use movements, sessions, and plans:
Movement
A movement refers to a single exercise. Recognizing that many people follow established workout routines, we want to ensure that nothing gets lost in translation. You have the flexibility to create your own movements beyond our library, allowing you to track your progress more accurately.
Once created, you can share these movements with friends simply by messaging them. They can then add the movement to their own library and start tracking it as well. Movements can be measured using either reps or seconds. For example, use seconds for exercises like planks and reps for exercises like bench presses to ensure accurate tracking.
Workout Sessions
Workout sessions are collections of movements organized into a coherent routine. Think of them as playlists for your workouts. By grouping movements into sessions, you streamline your tracking process, eliminating the need to sift through individual exercises.
For instance, you might create a "Leg Day" session that includes squats, deadlifts, and other leg exercises. This way, you can efficiently track your workout as planned.
Plans
One of the biggest challenges in staying active is effective planning. To simplify this, we offer a planning tool that helps you organize your workout sessions and execute them seamlessly. Traditional plans in PDF format can be cumbersome and difficult to follow. Our plans are easy to create and share with friends.
We offer two types of plans:
- Day of the Week: This type of plan schedules your workouts across different days of the week. For instance, you can set up a plan where you choose specific sessions for each Monday, ensuring that the workout you select appears each Monday when you view your plan.
- Numerical: This plan is ideal for training for specific events or following structured programs. For example, you can create a "30-Day Half-Marathon Training Plan" outlining what you’ll do each day over the course of the 30 days.
